Developing a Teaching Statement

Part of the 2019 Academic Job Preparation Series, this workshop will focus on the characteristics of an effective teaching statement — including what search committees look for — and help graduate students and postdoctoral scholars begin drafting/refining their statement to vibrantly convey their teaching values and the instructional choices they make to help students achieve learning goals.
