Talk by Professor Emeritus John Weinstock

Saami are the indigenous people of Northern Europe. They are spread throughout a number of nationstates, but they have their own parliaments, flag and languages. In this presentation, John Weinstock introduces the Saami and specifically emphasizes the life and work of Saami author Áilohaš  (1944-2001) who won the Nordic prize for literature in 1991.
