Colombian author Gabriel García García Márquez became an immediate global success with his 1967 novel, One Hundred Years of Solitude, translated into 45+ languages and selling more than 47 million copies worldwide. Discover his life and legacy as a global literary luminary in this first major exhibition of manuscripts, photographs, videos, and artifacts from the Nobel Prize-winner’s personal archive at the Harry Ransom Center. Open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from noon to 5 p.m.
