About this Event
This two-part workshop will provide instructors with technology-enhanced opportunities to consider assessment and feedback strategies that focus on creating student-centered instruction. We will design formative assessments and talk about strategies for providing constructive feedback on students’ work. We will focus on the use of educational technologies that help facilitate instructor feedback (i.e., Canvas rubrics, social annotation tools like Perusall) and peer feedback. We will discuss recommended use of technology for providing feedback in light of the Canvas Adoption policy at UT-Austin.
Participants should expect to create classroom-ready assignments during the course of the workshops.
