In this session cohosted by Enterprise Technology's AI Studio Team and Academic Affairs' Office of Academic Technology, we will explore access to generative AI tools on campus (including what's available for students), introduce the 4D Fluency framework (a set of competencies for working effectively, efficiently, and safely with AI), and discuss what responsible use looks like, including policies and approaches to using AI for teaching and learning here at UT Austin.

 

Outcomes

By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Access the tools, resources, and communities related to generative AI at UT Austin.
  • Explain the 4D Fluency framework and how to apply its concepts to working with generative AI at UT Austin.
  • Define responsible use of AI for teaching and learning at UT Austin.
  • Identify approaches to AI policy and integration in your courses.
