DESCRIPTION:The Smart Cities and AI Innovations Symposium is a day-long eve
 nt that brings together interdisciplinary professionals from academia\, in
 dustry\, government\, research institutes\, and non-profits to explore how
  artificial intelligence transforms our urban environments. Hosted in the 
 Avaya Auditorium on the University of Texas at Austin's main campus\, the 
 symposium features a dynamic program with distinguished speakers from lead
 ing universities across Texas and beyond\, alongside practitioners advanci
 ng smart mobility and AI applications in our cities. \n\n \n\nThis year's 
 symposium focuses on emerging technologies and real-world AI applications\
 , including Large Language Models (LLMs)\, Digital Twins\, Computer Vision
 \, and GeoAI. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in interdiscip
 linary networking\, including a dedicated lunch session and collaborative 
 networking activities. The symposium is designed to foster knowledge excha
 nge\, relationship building\, and collaborative problem-solving as AI tech
 nologies continue to shape urban life.\n\n \n\nThis event is organized by 
 UT Austin researchers working on A Good System for Smart Cities\, one of t
 he core research projects of Good Systems. Good Systems is a university-wi
 de\, interdisciplinary research grand challenge focused on designing ethic
 al AI technologies for the benefit of society.
