Designed and taught by UT faculty, high school students (ages 14-18) will learn about video game design, graphic design, and animation. All six of our design camps provide students the unique opportunity to create a portfolio piece as they prepare to apply for college.

Playing with Type

In this one-week summer camp, students will experiment with typography by hand and on the computer. By the end of this camp, students will create a portfolio of type-based posters, including an animated poster that comes to life in Augmented Reality without needing any prior graphic design experience. Students will be introduced to design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
