The Native American and Indigenous Studies Program at UT Austin is thrilled to host visiting guest lecturer Dr. Will Flavell (Māori) on Thursday, October 3rd, 2:00 PM in RLP 1.302B (Glickman Conference Center). Dr. Flavell will present a comprehensive overview of the prevalent challenges faced by Indigenous students in Aotearoa, New Zealand, alongside insights from his own educational journey. His talk will center on empowering Māori learners within an education system that has historically underserved them.
