“Humans of UT” is a unique final project completed by Amit Rau, a junior in the Liberal Arts Honors program. Inspired by the work of Brandon Stanton in Humans of New York and three other books found in the library, this project focused on “opening the windows” into the lives of six different UT students, all of whom were interviewed at the PCL during midterms and finals season in the Fall 2025 semester. Interviewees opened up about their life and time at UT including what brought them to the university, their daily motivations, and places that ground them on campus.
