Come join us for the first camp out of the fall 2019 semester! This will be a nice summer camp out with hiking, swimming, and the possibility of cliff jumping, canoeing, and or kayaking!

IMPORTANT DETAILS PLEASE READ IF ATTENDING:

There is a 16 person limit, signing up on the carpool sheet will be what counts as officially going and will be done on a first come first served basis. Although there is no penalty to signing up and bailing out last minute, if the sheet is full, be courteous and make your decision promptly.

FUNDS:
Venmo me @matsoosterlaken before friday evening or pay in cash on Saturday when you are confirmed coming.
$6 - Basic cost (Covers gas, campsite, firewood, etc
+$6 to cover your individual entrance fee: bring cash or be ready to pay with card.
+$8 - If you're eating our food (Dinner, Snacks, Breakfast)
For Clarity: Venmo me $6 or $14 if eating our food and bring $6 for the park.

We will be eating a lunch on our way there, if you do not wish to eat out at some fast food, bring your own food.
If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know or bring your own food.

PACKING:
A lot of us have tents that we are more than willing to share. If you have extra tent space you're willing to share, please add it as a comment on the sign up sheet.
If you need a tent, either:
1. Coordinate with someone who has extra space
2. Coordinate your own tent rental from UT RecSports for smaller/1-person tents (www.utrecsports.org/services/outdoor-center)

Here's a list to help you with packing. Keep in mind we'll have to fit all your stuff and three other people's stuff, four bodies, and some communal supplies like coolers and spare tents all in one car, so please pack compactly. Most importantly a sleeping bag and light source! The campsite will have basic restrooms with running water but that's about it for amenities.

Lastly, remember to pack fun stuff - weird card games, frisbees, footballs, camp chairs, speakers, instruments, well-behaved four-legged friends, whatever's good for hanging out around a campfire.
