Intervention Study for Fear of Public Speaking

DO YOU HAVE FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING?
INTERVENTION STUDY FOR FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING!

At present we are recruiting participants who have SIGNIFICANT fear of public speaking


The experimental intervention is completed in VIRTUAL REALITY


What does participation entail?
 Assessing eligibility: completing a pre-screening questionnaire online and a baseline
assessment in the lab (approximately 1 hour).
 In person visits: completing two intervention visits in the same week, and a follow-up
visit one week later (approximately 2 ½ hours).
 You will be randomly assigned to one of two intervention conditions: standard exposure
or attention guidance


Eligibility
 To be eligible you must have significant fear of public speaking and general social anxiety and not be currently receiving CBT for this specific concern.


No compensation will be provided
