Project JUNTOS (TOGETHER) is conducting a four-year longitudinal study to assess Latinx/Hispanic students’ experiences with stressors, coping, cultural risk and protective factors, emotional well-being, behavioral health, and academic well-being. 

The results of this study has the potential to inform the design of programs to improve the emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being of Latinx/Hispanic college students. Participation in the survey is voluntary and confidential. No identifiable information will be shared with anyone.  

To participate you must be:  

• A Freshman Student at the University of Texas at Austin 

• This is your first semester completing coursework full-time at a 4-year university (or remotely due to COVID-19).  

• Identify as Latinx/ Hispanic 

Participation will take about 75 minutes. When your survey is submitted, you will receive a $30 gift card to Tango Card, a service which allows you to choose from a variety of gift cards (e.g., Amazon, Starbucks, Nordstrom, etc.).   

Participation is voluntary. You are able to decline participation to future waves and surveys during the consent process and at any time in the future.  

Please note that you do will need to sign in using your UT EID and password and DUO authentication. Due to the survey length, we suggest taking the survey on a computer in a private place. You have 7 days to complete the survey after you start, however, we suggest completing the survey in one sitting.
