The Longhorn Impact Fellowship at Texas McCombs (LIFT) is a new program of the Social Innovation Initiative, a center on campus. LIFT will provide student consulting services for corporations, social enterprises, and non-profits seeking support for their social and environmental impact problems. Over the course of a semester, you will gain valuable cross-disciplinary skills that are difficult to find in the classroom and work on teams that mimic the real world.

Projects focus on a specific challenge an organization is facing related to sustainability, corporate philanthropy, non-profit management, impact/ESG investing, or social and environmental innovation. All projects will last at least one semester (8-10 weeks), with the option for the client to renew in the Spring. Descriptions of current projects are included at the bottom of this application, but new projects may be added during the application period.

Juniors, seniors, and graduate students from all disciplines may apply for the program. Please note that student consultants will be selected by the clients, not the SII.
