The HealthPoint Work-Life Balance & Wellness Program has partnered with UT Health Austin to offer UT Mammogram Mixers on June 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 at the UT Health Austin Imaging Center on campus.
University employees who make an appointment to have their annual screening mammogram during these times will receive:
You can schedule your mammogram for any open appointment throughout the year, but if you want to have even more fun, schedule your mammogram during our special Mammo Mixer times and enjoy a morning or afternoon snack!. These additional activities are subject to availability and are not available during non-Mammo Mixer times. Additionally, patients with orders for bone densitometry may also schedule their Bone Density screenings as well.
6/10 Monday, Mammo Mixer is 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
6/11 Tuesday, Mammo Mixer is 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
6/12 Wednesday, Mammo Mixer is 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
6/13 Thursday, Mammo Mixer is 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
6/14 Friday, Mammo Mixer is 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
*The American Cancer Society recommends an annual screening mammogram for women age 45 and older. (Women should be able to start the screening as early as age 35, if they want to). If you meet this requirement and haven't already obtained your annual mammogram during this plan year, call today to schedule! Traditional and digital mammograms are covered at 100%, there is no co-pay for 3D mammograms.

Participation HealthPoint work-life balance and wellness activities is completely voluntary. Parking fees are not included for HealthPoint activities. HealthPoint values and respects employees’ privacy. You may be asked about your current health status and daily activities as part of the registration process, program and evaluation. This information is protected and kept confidential, where applicable, according to the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) regulations. Your information may be shared with providers of the UT SELECT health insurance plan (e.g., Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Express Scripts, etc.) in order to enhance care and inform you about relevant program benefits (i.e., condition management). If you agree to the Authorization to Disclose Protected Health Information, the HealthPoint Wellness Program will receive your name and number of points and the information you log (steps or minutes of physical activity, water consumption and sleep). The purpose of this is to determine eligibility for prize drawings and rewards. If you do not agree to this authorization, no individual information is shared with UT Austin. The UT Austin HealthPoint Wellness Program receives an aggregate, de-identified report for program planning and trending purposes.
