During his time at Sandia, he worked in Sandia’s nuclear facilities supporting experimentation and facility operations. He was also a senior analyst within the Nuclear Policy office of the U.S. Department of Defense where he formulated and promulgated national U.S. nuclear policy. Dr. Gregson currently works on a variety of topics related to nuclear weapons including: deterrence, arms control, weapon effects, U.S. force structure and force modernization, external threats, and other topics of national strategic interest. Dr. Gregson has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin (UT-Austin), a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the UT-Austin, and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of New Mexico.
