We are looking for research participants to help reduce the burden of caregiving on the health of Asian American midlife women family caregivers of persons living with Alzheimer's Disease.

What is the purpose of the study?

Our team, led by Dr. Eun-Ok, wants to learn the effectiveness of the newly developed technology-based information and coaching/support program in improving health outcomes of Asian American midlife women who are family caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's Disease.

We are looking for people who:

  • are aged between 40 and 65
  • can read and write English, Mandarin Chinese, or Korean
  • live in the US
  • have access to the Internet
  • identify as Chinese or Korean
  • are a community-dwelling family caregiver of a person living with Alzheimer's Disease (clinical dementia rating greater than or equal to 1)
  • are providing at least 4 hours of assistance per day (on average) to PLAD

The TACAD study is an online study and does not involve medication or travel. Upon completion of the program, up to $150 will be provided during the 3-month study duration.
