Paid Research: T1D patients and Healthy Participants Needed

CALL: We are recruiting type 1 diabetes patients and healthy individuals for a research study

PURPOSE: to investigate the impact of type 1 diabetes on blood vessel function and blood pressure regulation.

COMMITMENT: two lab visits and an at-home 24-hour ambulatory BP monitoring (ABPM). The first visit is for 3–4 hours, and the second is for 2–3 hours.

COMPENSATIONS

  • up to $95 
  • free DEXA scan
  • free fitness consultation with the Fitness Institute of Texas
  • free comprehensive blood test (CBC, metabolic panel, lipid panel, liver enzymes, etc)
  • free vascular health report
  • Free ABPM report

To qualify, you must:

  • be diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for at least 1 year OR be healthy
  • be between 18 and 70 years old
  • be a non-smoker
  • have no history of heart disease
