CALL: We are recruiting type 1 diabetes patients for a research study

PURPOSE: to investigate the impact of type 1 diabetes on blood vessel function and blood pressure regulation.

COMMITMENT: two lab visits; visit 1 is 3 hours, visit 2 is 2 hours.

COMPENSATIONS

• up to $100
• free DEXA scan (the gold standard for body composition analysis)
• free fitness consultation with the Fitness Institute of Texas
• free comprehensive blood test (CBC, metabolic panel, lipid panel, liver enzymes, etc)
• free vascular health report

To qualify, you must:

• be diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for at least 1 year
• be between 18 and 70 years old
• be a non-smoker
• have no history of heart disease
