PAID Blood Pressure Study

We are looking for anyone between the ages of 18 and 65 to help us validate a new blood pressure monitor. All participants get a $25 gift card. Changes in your blood pressure during exercise can be a useful measurement to know and can help predict if you are at risk for future cardiac events such as a heart attack. However there are not many automated devices that have been made to measure blood pressure during exercise. Our study is desinged to validate a new blood pressure monitor that was designed to be used during exercise. Each participant will be asked to come to the lab twice and perfom a short and easy bike test each time. Each visit will be less than an hour in length. At the end of the second visit you will be able to take home a copy of your data and a $25 gift card.

Anyone interested can contact Natalie at nmclaurin@utexas.edu.
