Paid Brain Machine Interaction Study

The Lu Research Group at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking healthy participants for an electroencephalography (EEG) based brain-machine interaction study. The study includes 3D-printed EEG electrodes, printed directly on the head. The printing is a non-contact printing method and the study has been approved by The University of Texas at Austin Institutional Review Board.

We are recruiting healthy subjects between the ages of 18 and 45 for our study. The study will be performed for two consecutive days. 

Criteria for eligibility:

  • 18–45 years old.
  • Must have a buzz haircut (3 mm clipper size).
  • Currently not using any medication for psychiatric reasons.
  • Have no history of psychiatric/neurological disorders such as epilepsy.

You will be compensated up to $200 with free LUNCH on the study days.
