DESCRIPTION:Hello Everyone\,\nAre you excited about Neurotech Wearables? No
w might be an excellent time to get a glimpse!!\n\nYou are invited to part
icipate in a study evaluating the efficacy of the 3D printed electrodes fo
r the electroencephalography (EEG) monitoring system developed in our grou
p and monitor brain signals under dynamic states in laboratory setups. You
r participation in the study will contribute to the development of the nex
t-generation EEG monitoring system that consists of thin\, soft\, conforma
l\, and dry electrodes\, printed directly on the human skin via a 3D print
er. The study is being conducted in Prof. Nanshu Lu’s lab in the Departm
ent of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics of The University o
 f Texas at Austin\, 2501 Speedway\, EER 7.612\, Austin\,\nTX 78712\, 1-512
-471-4208\, nanshulu@utexas.edu.\n\nThis research study has been approved
by The University of Texas at Austin Institutional Review Board. The exper
iment of validating the printed EEG monitoring system will take approximat
ely 7-8 hours and may repeat the same activity for 2-3 more days. You will
be instructed to have a buzz haircut (3 mm clipper size) since we will pr
int the electrodes directly on the scalp. All the EEG measurements will be
conducted through a commercial Liveamp module (Brainvision).\nCompensatio
n will be given to all participants.\n\nIf you are an 18 to 45 years old h
ealthy adult currently enrolled as a student at the University of Texas at
Austin and would like more information about participating\, please fill
out the form or contact Pukar Maharjan at 512-767-4766 or pukar@utexas.edu
to obtain the “Consent for Participation in Research”.\n\nLocation: E
