We are recruiting chlidren ages 10-13 who are monolingual English speakers or deaf bilinguals of ASL and English to participate in the Spelling and Sounds study. We are trying to understand how deaf signers of ASL learn to read and write English. To participate in the study, children will be asked to read sentences and make judgements on words. All study participation is completely remote and can be scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends. Upon completion of study tasks, participants will receive $30, and parents will receive $10 for monitoring the completion of study tasks. Interested?
