We are excited to invite you to participate in a unique research study titled "Exploring User Perception of Librarian Responses and Generative AI Answers (STUDY00004944)." If you are an undergraduate student aged 18 and above at the University of Texas at Austin, we want to hear from you!

The purpose of this research is to examine your perceptions and the potential benefits you can derive from receiving answers from both librarians and generative artificial intelligence (AI). Our aim is to investigate the future collaboration between librarians and generative AI to enhance the information-seeking experience for users like you.

To participate in this study, you must:

• Be 18 years old or above.

• Be an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin.

Follow-up Interview:

Upon completing the survey, you will have the option to participate in a follow-up interview. This follow-up interview is optional; if you participate in a 1-hour-long interview, you will receive an additional $20 gift card.
