Paid Research Opportunity: Ovarian Cancer Patients with Genetic Testing Experience

We are seeking ovarian cancer patients to participate in an interview study about the genetic testing experience. The goal of the project is to create a quality information source and a website to help ovarian cancer patients fulfill their information needs concerning genetic testing. The project is approved by the University of Texas at Austin IRB (No. 2018-01-0154).

Qualification: You are qualified to participate if you:

  • Have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer
  • Have taken genetic testing
  • Are older than 18 years old
  • Speak and read English fluently
  • And are interested in helping to design information sources concerning genetic testing to better serve patients like yourself.

Study length: The interview will last about one hour.

Study location:  All of the interviews will be conducted online.

Interview content: In the interview, you will complete a demographic questionnaire, talk about your genetic testing experience, and comment on a mockup website that we designed.

As a token of our appreciation, you will receive a $30 gift card upon the completion of the session.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Siqi Yi at sukie_yi@utexas.edu to schedule an interview.
