About this Event
2199 San Jacinto Blvd.
We are looking for participants to help standardize the method of measuring arterial stiffness. Pulse wave velocity is the most common measurement used to measure the stiffness of arteries and the test is usually conducted with participants lying down in a quiet room. We are investigating the effects of talking, cell phone use, sleeping, and side lying on this measurement.
All participants will be given information on the health of their arteries, free blood pressure measurements, and $15 upon completetion of the study. This study can be completed in one session of about 2 hours in length. Those with hypertension or are over the age of 35 will be prioritized.
