The Fonzo Lab is a team of researchers and clinicians affiliated with the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. We are looking for individuals who:

- Are diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, have experienced major depression, and/or are currently having symptoms of a depression

- Are 18-65 years old and fluent in English 

- Are willing to undergo MRI and EEG procedures to measure brain function

- Are willing to take an FDA-approved, once-daily medication for treating depression

- Can visit the laboratory several times over the course of an 8-10 week period.

Participants will undergo clinical assessments, MRI/EEG procedures, and receive an 8-week course of antidepressant medication monitored by a board-certified psychiatrist at no cost. Financial compensation is provided, up to $550. All participants also receive free pictures of their brain!
