Your child attending middle or high school (aged 11-18) is invited to participate in a survey research study about internet and search engine usage. You are invited to provide permission for your child to participate in this survey study.

In this study, we will explore how middle school students (aged 11-13) and high school students (aged 14-18) use Google and other engines and how they understand retrieved results. The data collected from this survey will be used to suggest effective information literacy training in school and public libraries and to improve the design of search engines. Completing the survey may take 20 minutes at the most.
