We need participants for a research study: “Exploring the Transfer Receptive Culture for Latina/o Community College Transfer Students at Public Texas University”

Description of Project: We are researching the experiences of Latina/o community college transfer students’ at UT Austin. We will ask you to participate in one confidential 60 minute audio recorded interview, one 60 to 90 minutes video recorded focus group interview, in the collection of artifacts representing your transfer experiences, and in at least one 30 minute member check-in session to ensure for the accuracy and quality of your contributions.

To participate: You must be a Latina/o community college transfer student, currently enrolled at UT Austin, and be at least 18 years old. Participation will be completely voluntary.

This research is conducted under the direction of Dr. Luis Urrieta, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and has been reviewed and approved by the UT Austin Institutional Review Board.
