The Warfield Center is honored to host esteemed author and Pulitzer Prize Finalist Percival Everett for a reading and book signing on Thursday, September 26, at 5:00 p.m. at Hogg Memorial Auditorium. 

 

Everett will be reading from his latest novel, James.

 

Everett is a distinguished professor of English at USC. His other recent books include Dr. No (finalist for the NBCC Award for Fiction and winner of the PEN/ Jean Stein Book Award), The Trees (finalist for the Booker Prize and the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction), Telephone (finalist for the Pulitzer Prize), So Much BlueErasure, and I Am Not Sidney Poitier. He holds received the NBCC Ivan Sandrof Life Achievement Award and The Windham Campbell Prize from Yale University. 

Guests are invited to attend in-person or virtually. The in-person event is followed by a public reception and book signing at 6:00 p.m. Books will be available for sale, courtesy of Black Pearl Books.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
