About this Event

http://utproject.orgCome together on November 2nd at The Project, UT Austin’s largest day of service! Started in 1999, The Project is an annual, university-wide event that unites the Longhorn community with neighborhood residents for impactful volunteer work in Austin. On Project Day, volunteers rally to address critical needs in local neighborhoods, focusing on activities supporting education, sustainability, beautification, and other community priorities. It is organized and run by the Community Engagement Collective (“The Collective”) and annually marks the culmination of a year-long partnership between The Collective and the selected neighborhood’s community leaders. This annual effort strengthens bonds between the university and the city, and creates possibilities for students to develop leadership, communication, and management skills that will carry them into their future careers.
