Help the LifeHD Lab learn about how discrimination and stress in daily life affects long term health

The UT LifeHD Lab  (led by Dr. Jacob Cheadle and Dr. Goosby) is looking for students to participate in a study measuring how physiological information is impacted by discimination and stress. 

-The study will involve the measurement of physiological information by an activity-tracking smartwatch in conjunction with physical measurements (height, weight, etc.) and the analysis of stress biomarkers from finger stick blood samples. 

-Compensation:  Research participants will earn up to $150 for completing all components of this study that includes meeting with our research team twice, have your height, weight, blood pressure, and waist circumference measured, have blood collected through a finger prick, and respond to daily surveys throughout a two-week period while wearing a smartwatch.

-Eligibility: 1) You are between the ages of 18 and 26, 2) do not have sensitivity to finger stick blood capture, and 3) have a personal Android or Apple smartphone

-Location: Robert L. Patton Hall (RLP)

This study has been reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board here at UT.
