Experienced backpackers looking for adventure during the long winter break are invited to join RecSports on its Coastal Backpacking trip to Northern California.  The trip will begin and end at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).  First on the itinerary will be a 3-day/2-night backpacking expedition at Point Reyes National Seashore, described as “A Natural Sanctuary, A Human Haven.”  The remaining days will be spent enjoying various points of interest in the park followed by a drive to Sonoma Coast State Park for a 2-day/1-night backpacking trip. Sightseeing in San Francisco will cap off the trip.

Participants must have wilderness backpacking experience due to the strenuous nature of the trip. Eligibility: Currently enrolled students and UT faculty/staff with a RecSports membership.
