Register: Science Communication Workshop

 Sign up to attend a FREE workshop and learn how to make your research accessible to non-expert audiences. Distill your message and tell jargon-free stories that connect laypersons with your science. Attendance is limited to 25 per workshop. You will be notified as to whether you are registered or waitlisted.

 

The workshop presenter, Nichole Bennett (STEMprov) will cover: 

·  Being in the Moment and Playing Off-the-Cuff

·  Engagement

·  Storytelling

·  Empathy and Connection

·  Risk-taking and Learning from Failure

·  Collaboration and "Yes And"

·  Giving and Taking Feedback

 

The workshops will be held on Friday, October 5, 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1-4:30 p.m.
