Relative Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder? Participate in Paid Research Study (UT Austin)

If you are between the ages of 15 and 25 with a relative who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, you may be eligible to participate in a research study that looks at genes and how the brain works using advanced MRI scanning techniques.

 

The study will take place at The University of Texas at Austin and components include completing interviews and tests of mental functions, giving a saliva sample for DNA testing, and completing a brain scan.

 

Eligible participants will receive as much as $140 for study components completed.

 

You must complete a screening interview to determine whether you are eligible for this study.
