About this Event
100 DEAN KEETON ST W, Austin, Texas 78712
https://cmhc.utexas.edu/groups.htmlAll CMHC groups are free and confidential.
The group aims to develop a sense of belonging and community among group members who might experience feelings of isolation and/or perceived rejection when attempting to claim one of their identities. Group will offer a mixture of peer support, interpersonal exploration and resources. Issues discussed may include imposter syndrome, racial stress, stigma, intersectionality, relationships, family dynamics and challenges and strengths associated with navigating two or more racial/ethnic groups and/or cultures.
The drop-in format of the group is a great way for students to access mental healthcare without having to make a weekly commitment.
Registration - Not necessary. Participants are not required to participate each week and can drop in for one, some or all group sessions. Click below to receive weekly reminder emails about the group.
For questions or more information - Contact Hannah Yeo Garza.
