Research Assistant Position

The Cancer Neuroscience Laboratory is seeking a graduate student research assistant (GRA) to assist with grant funded studies.  The position is available for up to 20 hours per week and the salary is $38,000/year plus tuition benefit.  We are particularly interested in students with a background in computer engineering to assist in developing Matlab/R/Python scripts for computational neuroimaging analyses and machine learning applications.  Other GRA responsibilities include scheduling study visits, assisting with brain MRI scanner operation, administration of computerized cognitive tests and maintaining REDCap databases.  Please contact Dr. Shelli Kesler (srkesler@austin.utexas.edu) for more information regarding the position and/or to apply by sending your CV and a cover letter describing your background and interests.
