About this Event
108 DEAN KEETON ST E, Austin, Texas 78712
The Laboratory for the Study of Anxiety Disorders is currently seeking research assistants for a study examining enhanced forms of exposure therapy for anxiety treatment. We are particularly interested in students who will be available this summer and the coming fall.
This position is an excellent research opportunity for students interested in studying clinical psychology and related fields. It will allow students to gain firsthand experience with various aspects of anxiety research, and students will be involved in conducting exposure therapy for individuals with fear of enclosed spaces, contamination, or spiders. Preference will be given to those with a strong GPA who exhibit high levels of professionalism, extreme attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to think and work independently. Research assistants should be comfortable working directly with study participants, the supervising graduate student, and other RAs. To apply, please fill out the linked questionnaire: https://utexas.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9YqySXBB6XYxHI9, and send both a resume and schedule of your availability for an interview to michael.d.lee@utexas.edu.
