The Dunsmoor Lab, housed within the Psychiatry Dept at Dell Medical School, is seeking motivated volunteer research assistants to join our lab and contribute to the work we are conducting. Examples of current studies include investigations into 1) how people generalize emotional information from past learning and 2) how we can optimize the regulation of negative emotional experiences.  Methods used in the lab include: conditioning paradigms, fMRI, psychophysiology, virtual reality, and clinical interviews. RAs in our lab assist with a variety of tasks, including recruitment/screening, data collection using the above-listed methods, data entry/management, and assist with statistical analyses and method development. RA positions in our lab are particularly well-suited to students with an interest in neuroscience and/or psychology, and seeking graduate education in one of these areas.
