You are invited to participate in a research study. The purpose of this research is to explore where and how parents seek out information about their child’s health and how parents and children talk about this information.

Your participation is completely voluntary.

You are eligible to participate if:

• You have a child between the ages of 5 and 14.

Approximately 50 people will participate in this study. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete an in-person audio-recorded interview that will take approximately 1 hour, immediately followed by an online confidential survey that will take approximately 30-45 minutes. The total time required for participation in this study is approximately 1.5 hours. Both portions of the study will be conducted either on campus or at a location of your choosing or over the phone.  Upon completion of the study, you will receive a $15 gift card (HEB, Amazon.com, Starbucks, etc) for your time.
