We are seeking males (18 to 25-year-olds) who are current vapers to participate in a study. The goal of the project is to understand vaping use behaviors in real-time using a mobile app, as well as through interviews. The project is approved by UT Health San Antonio and the University of Texas at Austin (IRB Protocol: 20210064HU).

Study length:  If you agree to participate, you will complete four different research activities, including 1) a baseline survey; 2) a 28-day study period in which you will use the LifeData mobile app to complete approximately 3 surveys per day; 3) a follow-up survey at the end of the 28-day study period; and 4) a qualitative interview following the 28-day study period.

Study location:  All study activities will occur virtually. The baseline and follow-up surveys will occur online. The 28-study period will occur via a mobile app. The qualitative interviews will occur via zoom.

Study content: Throughout the study we will ask about your vaping use behaviors, other substance use behaviors, mental health, attitudes and perceptions of vaping, among others.
