Dear UT Austin Students,

We are excited to invite you to participate in a University of Texas Health Science Center research study titled “The Practice of Displacement: Qualitative Assessment of the Use of Tobacco and Cannabis Products for Cessation or Harm Reduction Among College Students (STUDY HSC-SPH-23-1087).”

If you are a student above the age of 18 at the University of Texas at Austin who uses multiple tobacco or cannabis products, we want to hear from you!

The purpose of this research is to learn more about students’ perceptions of the tobacco and cannabis products they use and how they may try to reduce the use of some of them.

Are you eligible?

• Between the ages of 18 and 25
• Current student at UT Austin
• Used two or more tobacco or cannabis products in the past 30 days

Eligible individuals will be given a link to schedule a Microsoft Teams interview at the end of the survey. This study entails minimal risks, which will be discussed prior to the start of the interview. Interview participants will receive monetary compensation for their time.
