SDS Short Course- Introduction to SQL

This course will cover a brief overview of table design in a relational database, followed by an introduction to retrieving, inserting, updating, and deleting data in a single table.  Additionally, we will cover basic aggregation functions, sorting data, and indexes.  We will also cover special data types, like date/time and money.  Participants should have basic familiarity with the structure of relational databases.  No familiarity with SQL is necessary.
