Join the 2024 SECL Board in welcoming retired NFL athlete and NASA astronaut Leland Melvin to The 40 Acres! Prepare to take a journey under the stars as SECL and Dr. Moore traverse through Leland’s sprawling career. Learn more about what it is like to go to space, and hear from a world-class leader that has truly landed amongst the stars.

SECL is a Board of selected Student Representatives from organizations that lead the Longhorn Community. Together, the SECL Board selects a distinguished speaker to present to The University in the spring. 2024’s Board includes Reps from organizations like: Silver Spurs, Senate, and Minority Women Pursuing Law.
