While there are bad people who consciously choose to do bad things, in the white collar world most wrongdoing occurs when “good people” non-deliberately fail to live up to their own moral standards.  Although most of us don’t realize it fully, we often act unethically due to various social and organizational pressures, cognitive biases, and even seemingly innocuous situational factors.  This workshop explains how your brain fools you into thinking that you are a better person than you actually are, and what you can do to minimize your wrongdoing.

Presented by the McCombs School of Business as part of the Student Employee Excellence Development (SEED) Program.
