Project JUNTOS (TOGETHER) is a lab that focuses on the well-being of Latinx/Hispanic individuals and their families. The lab has two current projects: the Freshman Survey Project and JUNTOS Familia. The primary aim of the Freshman Survey Project is to survey first-year Latinx/Hispanic students at UT as a means to gather data that can inform programs to support their college transition and experience. The primary aim of JUNTOS Familia is to explore the experiences of Latinx high school students and their parents specifically in regards to discrimination, prejudice, and racism.

The research assistant responsibilities could include: data management,  transcriptions, translations if applicable, qualitative data coding, assist with literature searchers and management, and other relevant tasks. Spanish-speaking applicants are highly encouraged to apply.
