About this Event
In collaboration with Volunteer UT, this community strives to bring together students who are interested in connecting with peers through engaging in community service. We hope to create a sense of solidarity in our service work by creating space to get to know and support each other in addition to reflecting on our impact on and responsibility to others. Solo volunteers, peers who've never done service work before, and everyone in between are welcome, and projects will be chosen and planned collectively. Come along to connect with new friends in a supportive environment and engage in meaningful volunteer work!

SHARE Communities are weekly student-led groups where peers with similar interests, concerns, or wellness goals can find community and social connection that goes beyond surface-level. They are places to step away from the grind and let down the mask, where mutual support, imperfection, and “real” conversations are the expectation rather than the exception. SHARE Communities were created to combat loneliness on campus by giving students a place to be themselves and feel at home, and where their resources and wisdom can directly benefit others going through similar struggles.
Note: This is not a replacement for clinical mental health services.
