- The purpose of the study is to explore how students’ educational experiences and educational attainment are shaped by their various social identities.
- In order to participate, you must be a student enrolled in a higher education institution who identifies based on any of the following categories: a student of color, a student who speaks a home language other than English, an immigrant student, a non-citizen student, an LGBTQIA student, or a non-Christian student. Parents must be the parent of such a student and teachers/educational support staff must have direct experience working with such students. All participants must be 18 and older and speak English with enough proficiency to participate in an interview or group discussion.
- Participation in the study (filling out the demographic form and focus group session/individual interview) will take approximately two hours. You will be compensated $20 for your participation.
