Soul Siblings is a skills-based therapy group for Black women and women-identified students. The group is being offered twice this semester, once before Spring Break and once after. Soul Siblings meets 2 hours per week for 4 weeks, and participants must commit to attending all 4 sessions.
What is Soul Siblings exactly?
Soul Siblings is a collective healing experience intended to inspire a practice of intentional mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. The primary healing principles of Soul Siblings are acceptance, emotion-positivity, relational power, intersectionality, inclusive spirituality, and mindfulness. Soul Siblings features guest-facilitation of trauma-informed yoga and interactive theatre/creative practice.
Interested students meet with the group facilitator for a pre-group interview before starting. Please call (512) 471-3515 or stop by CMHC (SSB 5th floor) to schedule this meeting and learn more about the group.
