Let youth speak up!

Speak Up! Speak Out! 6^th-12^th graders want to learn civics by doing civics.

The Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life at UT Austin is seeking volunteers like you for our upcoming Speak Up! Speak Out! State Civics Fair at the Texas Capitol on Friday, February 8 2019! State Civics Fair volunteers witness students present civic solutions, as they learn how to advocate for their solutions, themselves, and their communities.

Your help is needed:

• Time student presentations
• Assist with scoring
• Distribute student lunches
• Run game stations
• Set up/clean up the event
