Students for Sensible Drug Policy at UT Austin is  concerned about the effects of drug use on our community, but believes the War on Drugs is both ineffective and damaging to our communities. Therefore, we (1) strive to provide objective information regarding substance use in order to facilitate informed, individual decisions, (2) advocate for local legislative reforms and (3) partner with local and national organizations in order to further our collective efforts to combat the War on Drugs. 
Please join us for our general meetings every Thursday from 7-8pm in PAR 201! All meetings begin with brief educational presentations on various subjects, including harm reduction, policy changes, and scientific research. Want to lead a presentation on a topic of your choice?
